  6. In this section, I'm gonna let all you newbies in on the secret of making [k]s.  It really ain't that hard.  First of all, you need a demo, and a full version, if you don't have the full version, there are other ways to krack proggies but the one I'm gonna show you is the simplest.

  8. You also need a copy of ResCompare, which will be included with this very issue (just so you all could start making kracks right away!), because this is the program you use to compare to programs and it makes a "patch" to take the differences from the full version and put them in the demo.

Okay, here we go, open REsCompare (obviously).  Go to "File" and select "Open".  When you get the dialog box, find the demo,  open it up and it will list all of the resources.  After that, go to "File" and select "Compare With".  Now open the full version in the dialog box.  ResCompare will now find the differences and display them in the box.  Choose the resources you want patched and select them in the box.  Then go to "Change" in the Menu and select "Make Patch..."  Now it will give you a lot of options about the patch,  do what you want, save it.  You can spice it up a little with ResEdit or new icons, then distribute it all over the internet.  Everyone will love you, I gaurantee it!
